Description

In rare occurrences when a Flight Plan or a Direct To is active from within the SkyView mapping application, SkyView can become locked up or "frozen". This can occur only with firmware version 3.3.0 or 3.3.1 installed.

Affected Units

This bulletin applies only to SkyView systems with firmware version 3.3.0 or 3.3.1 installed which also have a navigation mapping license or trial.

Method of Compliance

DO NOT use the Direct To and Flight Plan functions in SkyView versions 3.3.0 or 3.3.1.

If you are currently running SkyView version 3.3.0 or 3.3.1, download and install version firmware 3.3.2 or newer. Version 3.3.2 SkyView firmware is available at Download SkyView Software.
