I am new to the Dynon and glass system set up in a CTLS. The aircraft was flown yesterday and an erroneous airspeed was displayed. We suspect a pitot system blockage. If we do find a blockage that can be cleared, are there additional steps needed to re-calibrate the ADAHRS or Dynon displays? Warning Messages: ADAHRS CROSS CHK ERR (in red), GPS ASSIST (in yellow) and BATTERY TEST NEEDED (white) Thank you for any input.

The first two warnings could come from the airspeed problem. If you have two ADAHRS and they don't agree, (could be airspeed in this case) you will get the ADAHRS CROSS CHK ERR. I would look for a plumbing problem between the two ADAHRS. unless they have separate pitots.

The GPS ASSIST comes on when there isn't an airspeed and the ground speed is above 20kts. You can get this taxing with a strong tail wind. or ADAHRS/Pitot problem.

The last error BATTERY TEST NEEDED is just a reminder that it's been a year since the last battery test or you have never done the battery test. Once you do a battery test the warning will go away.

Looking forward to a solution of the blockage of the pitot system, if one line is cleared but not the second, would the isolation of the ADAHRS system (still with faulty input) take away the cross-check between systems and allow for normal display. I assume as well that the remaining ADAHRS will still cross check with the Garmin 696 GPS?

Disable the one with the airspeed problem and the other one will take over. The remaining ADAHRS won't use the 495 unless it's the only GPS source.

So first - definitely make the s/n 2069 your primary/active ADAHRS so that you have IAS. Presumably you've already did that. Second, after you clear the obstruction, pneumatic disconnection, or whatever it ends up being, there won't be any re-calibration needed. As long as the ADAHRS is gettting valid pitot/static pressures, you'll get correct airspeed.
