WiFi Password Problem using ForeFlight with iPad (Read 283 times)

I have had a recurrent problem with obtaining a WiFi connection from my iPad to the SkyView Classic/Touch panels I have.  I never had an issue prior to the latest software build 15.3.3, but to be fair, ForeFlight has also recently updated their application.

The problem symptoms are I will get an error message saying that the password is incorrect on the iPad when trying to connect to the SkyView network.  The first time this happened, I changed the password in both the SkyView and then on the iPad and got connected.  The second time I did nothing, and later on during the same day, it connected without issue.  I just recently had the same issue where it would not connect, with the error message, and then later in the day it did make the connection to the WiFi network allowing me to upload a flight plan.

This has been frustrating because I get in the airplane with a detailed flight plan, only to find out I cannot upload it.  Re-entering the password at that moment on the iPad does not make the connection either.

We've seen behavior like this once here ourselves, but rebooting the ipad seemed to cure it forever, and then we haven't seen that happen since. Any chance the iPad hasn't been rebooted in a while (I know mine can go between software updates without getting restarted)

Yes, I do not think I have rebooted it recently. I will do that now, and see if it cures the problem.
