The following products are no longer manufactured by Dynon Avionics but continue to be fully supported.

EFIS-D10

The EFIS-D10 was Dynon's very first design and has been replaced by the current EFIS-D10A. Dynon offers a program for upgrading the EFIS-D10 to the newer EFIS-D10A. After being upgraded, your new EFIS-D10A comes with a new 3 year warranty.

EFIS-D10 to EFIS-D10A Upgrade Details

Customers interested in sending back their EFIS-D10 to be upgraded to an EFIS-D10A should contact Dynon Avionics at 425-402-0433 to obtain return authorization and arrange payment. Please obtain an return authorization BEFORE sending your unit in. When you receive warranty authorization to return your unit to Dynon Avionics, please remove any fittings, brackets, or other accessories from the units product. Once we receive your unit, it generally takes about 10 business days until it will be ready to ship back out.

EFIS-D10 to EFIS-D10A upgrades cost $350.

If you own the EDC-10 remote magnetometer, it will need to be sent in for upgrade too ($50.)

The EFIS-D10A does not have internal gray code altitude encoder output like the EFIS-D10 did. Instead, it has serial altitude output that is capable of providing altitude to some of the newest transponders such as the Garmin 327 and 330. If your transponder needs gray code input, you will need our optional Encoder Seral-to-Gray Code Converter Module for your upgraded EFIS-D10A ($80.) This will additionally require some a bit of EFIS harness re-wiring.

Finally, note that if you own the EDC-D10 remote magnetomer, you will need to rearrange a few of the pins on your EDC connector once you recieve your upgraded EDC-D10A.
