Improved: Knob debouncing algorithm changed to eliminate extra or erratic value changes when turning knobs. This affects both SkyView display knobs and those one SkyView control panels.
Fixed: Some damping filters defined in the engine sensor definitions file (.sfg) were not working properly. This was most usually observed as fuel levels that would respond too quickly to movement in the tanks while maneuvering.
Fixed: Bug that could cause autopilot servo calibrations to not complete or yield servos that controlled an incorrect axis.
Fixed: ADS-B Density Altitude calculation.
Fixed: SkyView would take longer (up to 2 minutes) to boot one time after high resolution terrain was loaded. This bug was introduced in 11.1.
Fixed: Airport icons in the NRST and INFO lists were erroneously being displayed as weather icons instead of the chart-style icons.
Fixed: PAL mode now works with Video Input Adapter.
Fixed: NO HI-RES TERRAIN message no longer annunciated due to GPS data loss.
Fixed: incorrect error message when trying to load .duc packages a second time.

Fixed: Traffic vector length now correct for ADS-B targets.
Fixed: Not all data from Garmin portable GPS products was being passed along to compatible Garmin radios as if they were directly connected.
|11.1||10/21/2014||Fixed: Some TFRs received via ADS-B were not being displayed. Pilots are always encouraged to confirm TFR status with an official briefing source.
Fixed: In some cases, Van’s RV-12 customers (with the Vans AV-50000 control unit) or customers equipped with the Vertical Power VP-X experienced over-current issues; prerequisites for this to occur:
(1) SkyView version 10.0, 10.1, or 11.0 loaded, and
(2) Installation must have a voltage drop between SkyView and its aircraft power source. This is most-commonly caused by a wiring path with higher than usual resistance, and
(3) SkyView is powered up on its backup battery before aircraft power is applied to SkyView. Fixed: The user waypoint editor in MAP MENU > EDIT USER WAYPOINTS did not display correctly in v11.0.
Fixed: SkyView would incorrectly display a “NO HIGH RES TERRAIN” alert when the new “Continental Australia Only” or “China Only” regions were loaded. Fixed: ADS-B weather layer would erroneously show very thin bands of purple “missing” data, when in fact the data was available and was being displayed. Fixed: Loading a packaged Dynon software update with a “.duc” file extension could cause SkyView to report an erroneous “out of disk space” error on subsequent load attempts. Improved: Added filtering of GPS position update to immobilize the GPS ground track direction when the aircraft is not moving. Improved: Load times for large databases, notably high resolution terrain, has been greatly decreased. Improved: An 11.0 feature designed to detect ADAHRS sensor failures occasionally provided nuisance alerts that would disable the ADAHRS when SkyView was powered on. 11.1 no longer compares Pitot and AOA pressures if AOA is not calibrated (for example when the AOA port on the ADAHRS is capped). Accelerometer failure checking is now more tolerant of tail dragger aircraft with significantly nose-high attitude on the ground.

TFR Note 1: TFRs that surround sporting events/stadiums are not currently depicted in SkyView 5.0. Sports stadium TFRs are transmitted without active times, and thus would be presented as active at all times, even though the restrictions are in effect only during sporting events. Because of this, they add significant clutter if presented as regular TFRs. SkyView 5.1, which is scheduled for a January 2013 release, will add support for these TFRs with a unique depiction and a separate declutter option, but there will still not be an indication of their active or inactive status. TFR Note 2: Due to limitations in the way that the FAA currently transmits TFR information over ADS-B, many TFRs, including but not limited to such as VIP movement / Security / Hazard / Presidential movement, cannot be depicted by SkyView. Therefore, pilots should not rely on SkyView TFR depiction as an authoritative source of TFRs. Make sure to use official briefing data sources for complete TFR information. Improved: Airspace colors for class B, D, TMA, MTMA, CTR, Alert, and Warning airspace types. Improved: Support for CTR and CTA airspaces which were previously displayed by class., and Display of TIZ and TIA airspaces have been added. |1.5||3/29/10||Added: A basic moving map displaying aviation data within the United States. This data is overlaid on the look down terrain, and shows airspaces, airports, airport identifiers, and VOR's in relation to the current location of the aircraft. To display this data, you must have an active GPS signal and the USA aviation database installed. There is not currently any user interface to this data, such as a cursor or any menus, and there is no flight planning interface. These functions are planned for a future release of software. Data is limited to the United States for now and is provided by Dynon avionics free of charge via our website. The USA data is sourced from FAA's published data. Dynon is working with other data providers to obtain data for regions outside of the United States, and will support this as soon as is possible. There likely will be a fee for non-US data. Added: All user calibrations and settings are propagated across the entire SkyView system. Added: Various adjustments now propagate to all SkyView screens in the system. This includes altimeter setting, bugs, screen dimming, message acknowledgment, and other real-time adjustments. Added: GPS assist mode to ADAHRS algorithm. GPS ground speed is automatically substituted for airspeed when the System detects that the airspeed indication has failed (usually because of an iced, blocked, or otherwise disconnected pitot). When this happens, the PFD annunciates that its attitude indication is in a “GPS Assist” mode. The EFIS display also shows GPS ground speed next to the failed airspeed indication to help the pilot maintain situational awareness. Most importantly, when in GPS Assist mode, the attitude provided by Dynon PFD continues to be accurate. Added: GPS ground speed and GPS altitude text on the map screen. Fixed: Garmin 400/500 series panel-mount GPS data now correctly interpreted. Fixes include lat/long reports and track that was incorrect by degrees of magvar. Fixed: All pressure sensors correctly display 0 instead of being X'd out when at 0 pressure. Fixed: Newer Honeywell Rotax-provided oil pressure sensor now works correctly without an external 200 ohm resistor. Fixed: GPS position must include altitude to be valid for use in SkyView. Fixed: Grey code converter module now works consistently.|
